1. Choose games with fewer decks. The odds of individual bets will fluctuate ever so slightly depending on the number of decks in play, but the overall consensus is that fewer decks in the shoe equates to better odds for the player in general.
2. Find the casino with the lowest commission. The amount of commission a casino charges on winning bets will vary between two and five percent, in most cases. While this slight variation may not seem like much, over the course of several dozen bets, it can certainly add up very quickly.
3. Bet on the banker. Banker and player bets carry house edges of 1.04 and 1.21 percent, respectively. While it is sometimes in the player's best interest to bet on the player, bets on the banker carry the lowest house edge and, therefore, the greatest chances of winning.
